A Modern Entertainer’s Pavilion
This Rowville family wanted to transform their outdoor living with a contemporary rear extension. The existing two-storey cream brick home lacked connection to the backyard and modern entertaining space.
“We wanted a space where we could cook, entertain and enjoy our backyard all year round. The new pavilion has completely changed how we live.”
The solution? A striking single-storey pavilion clad in dark charcoal metal, with warm timber-lined ceilings and floor-to-ceiling glass doors that blur the line between inside and out.

The contemporary charcoal cladding and warm timber ceiling create a striking contrast with the original cream brick home, giving the extension its own architectural identity while complementing the existing dwelling.
